Bear with me, please. I'm still working on this bulletin but haven't had a lot of time to mess with programs et al. Sorry we forgot the greeters/rackets people last week. I'm going to put them here for the next few weeks, but if you are missing a bulletin, check the website.

Committees 2004-2005
Lana (upcoming pres) is trying to establish her committees for the year and has sent an email to everyone asking what committee they have either committed to or would like to be on. If you have not responded, please do so, soon. If there is no response, then we will assume you prefer us to assign you to where there is a gap.
From the Executive meeting in April
  • Today's meeting will be about Heartland House. Jan Morton to make presentation for the club to consider.
  • Club surveys were distributed last week. If you didn't get one, ask Ernie. If you have filled it in, please bring it to the next meeting.
  • Rotary Park will be getting a new sign, identifying Trail Rotary as the sponsoring club.
  • A greening project is going ahead at the bottom of the Teck Cominco hill. Rotary is buying plants to start it up.
  • RYLA - we have a student for this year's Rotary Youth Leadership camp.
  • It looks like we'll be hosting an exchange student this year. Don't know where the student is from, but if you haven't had the pleasure of hosting a Rotary student and would like to give it a shot, talk to Cheryl Yates or Marguerita Loyola. Also, if you have friends or relatives that would like to do this (non-Rotarians), please pass their names along.
  • GSE - there is a group from our district currently in Argentina and plans to send a team to Japan next year.
  • The club is getting new badges, smaller than the ones we have now. They will be given to new members.
  • We also have membership cards now. When you pay your dues, you will be issued a card showing you are a member in good standing.
