- Fall project to support the Communities in Bloom committee to empty the annuals form the gardens in the vicinity of the arena and along Victoria Street. All Club members as well as a group of volunteers arranged by Scott Daniels welcome to participate on October 25 @ 9:00 am.
- Committee exploring development of a garden at the base of the Teck Cominco Hill.
- The tree planting site across from the landfill, that is identified by a Rotary sign, has been walked to determine the survival rate of the trees planted there. The estimate is that only 24 trees have survived We have determined that we need to consult an arborist or some other knowledgeable person to direct us on what we should do to support the growth of trees in this location. We will also be removing our sign from the site.
- The sign on the Teck hill where we have planted bulbs over the past couple of years should remain up as we are expecting another good showing of these bulbs next spring. We will need to consider what to do with this sign at some point in the future.
