2003/2004 Budget Request:
1. RYLA student : $700
2. J.L. Crowe Scholarship:
$300 $1,000. This is up $750 from last year.
3. *Workplace 101: $300 sponsors a reception evening, one of four,
each sponsored by local Rotary Clubs.

*Workplace 101 is a new venture for the Rotary Club of Trail, in collaboration with other local Rotary Clubs (Castlegar, Rossland and Beaver Valley) and is organized in partnership with Teck Cominco's "The Learning Centre," the Greater Trail Community Skills Centre and School District #20. This is a series of workshops whose objective is to provide students with basic skills in preparation for work experience placedments and future employment. These workshops will target high school students, one post secondary group and clients of the Skills Centre. Up to 48 participants per workshop are expected. On 1-October, Jane Power (Teck Cominco Metals Ltd., The Learning Centre) gave a presentation describing Workplace 101 to the Rotary Club of Trail.
