1. RYLA. No Report

2. J.L. Crowe & Other Scholarships. Richard Thorpe was interviewed by Lana Rodlie with a view to an article appearing in the Trail Times, advertising the Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship. The article should appear very soon.

3. Student Initatives:

a) Career's Day. Piotr and Scott met with Carol McIntyre (J.L. Crowe) and discussed options for piloting a Career's Day event at J.L. Crowe. The event would be having two guest speakers talk to a group of 40-50 students about their career. Students are currently being polled for what careers they would be interested in hearing about. Carol has been provided with the list of current Career Classifications of members (no names provided). We've also encouraged her to solicit for interest from Trades careers and we would try to identify suitable guest speakers if there was sufficient interest in any Trades.

c) CareerLinks. Piotr and Scott met with Carol McIntyre (J.L. Crowe) to discuss this. Scott will be putting together a final proposal and plans to have a detailed outline for Carol to review by the end of March, 2005.
